Kathryn Watson is a writer on the arts and culture beat. Her work has appeared in Longreads, RELEVANT, Christianity Today, LitHub, and Ekstasis, among others. She is interested in exploring the inner mechanisms of working-class communities and is at work on a book of essays about her native Staten Island. She lives in New York City with her husband and two children.
